Testimony for Bill 186 & 187 (Applicant: Waikōloa Green LLC)

The County Council is deciding whether to reclassify land next to the Village for a large new development. On September 1, after nearly three hours of testimony and discussion, Council voted to defer. The next hearing is Tuesday, September 15, and written testimony is due by noon on Monday, September 14.

We need the community to ask Council to withhold approval on this rezoning until there are real, funded commitments, with a timeline, for the infrastructure this growth requires: a dedicated, two-lane second access road, secure water, and adequate school capacity. This is the window to make your voice count.

How testimony works
